What will staying in a
villa offer me?
Space and Luxury are the short
answers. Forget staying in a cramped, noisy hotel room, renting a private villa
such as ours offers you enough space to spread out, with plenty of bedrooms and
bathrooms for everyone, plus the luxury of your own Kitchen, Games room,
Swimming Pool and
Spa.
Is
there local help available if I need it?
Our local management company are on hand 24 hours a
day to deal with any issues you may have during your stay and also can provide
services such as transportation and theme park tickets.
Their details are located in the villa along with a list of services.
Is
the Villa Properly Licensed?
In order to comply with Florida law, our home is
fully licensed by the state for Short Term Rental and is fully compliant with
all Fire and Safety Regulations. A full smoke and fire detection system is
in place and certified fire extinguishers are in place. Our license allows
for a maximum of 12 guests
at any time and this is strictly enforced.
WE
STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL GUESTS HAVE PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE
Are
there any hidden costs?
Absolutely not! All taxes and Spa heating costs
are included in your rental rate. The only additional costs are for
Swimming Pool heating (if required) and the refundable security deposit.
Are
the Spa and Pool heated?
Spa heating is included in your rental rate.
Swimming Pool heating is recommended for the cooler winter months from October
to April, although this is a subjective thing and the decision is always yours.
The additional charge for Pool heating is £15 per night. To ensure that any heat

kept in the pool we ask that you cover the pool at night using the pool blanket
provided.
What
is available to entertain the Children?
We have provided many games, toys and books to
provide a entertainment for the children while their parents enjoy a relaxing
drink by the pool or a Spa. The Games Room also includes a Playstation 2 with a
variety of games and a Poker table. There is also an Air Hockey table
located in the garage area.
What
kind of Internet Access can I get?
High Speed Internet access is available via DSL cable
in the Villa. There is no charge for this service, although an Ethernet
cable and laptop computer are required. Note: There is no
computer
or printer available.
Is
there a 'phone in the Villa?
There is a telephone with data port for guests use.
Local calls are free as are Long Distance and International calls with the use
of our access number which will be provided in advance.
What
do I do to book and pay?
Please see our Booking page for full details and to download a booking
form. Bookings are confirmed with a deposit of £200 / $300 and final
payment, plus the Security Deposit, is due 8
weeks
prior to your arrival date.
What
is a security deposit?
The security deposit is paid in addition to the final
balance as security against costs such as excessive cleaning costs, excessive
utilities, loss or damage to our home and the return of keys after your stay.
Should no charges be required this deposit is fully refundable.
Do
I get a discount if I stay for longer?
Discounts are available for stays of 21 nights or
more. Please enquire for further details.
Can
I get to Disney easily?
Full directions to Disney are provided before you
leave for Florida, including a handy ‘back route’ to the theme parks.
Sunset Lakes is located 4 miles from Disney’s main entrance and all theme parks
are well signposted once on Disney property. All other attractions are
easily accessible using the Interstate 4, just 3 miles away.
Is
there a grocery store nearby?
The nearest grocery store is Wynn Dixie at the
Formosa Gardens Shopping Plaza, directions to this are included with your keys
pack. We recommend guests have use of a car for their stay at
Villa
Santa Cruz.
Is
there a Barbeque?
An electric barbeque is provided free of charge for
use in the Lanai area. A traditional gas barbeque can be supplied by our
management company for use outside the pool screening. An additional charge
will be made locally for this service.
What
time is checkin / checkout?
Our home is available to you from 4pm on the day of
arrival until 11am on the day of departure.
Later
departure is not guaranteed and must be agreed in advance.
Do
I need to bring a hairdryer?
No. There a number of Hairdryers and also Hair Straighteners for
use during your stay.
How
will I find the Villa?
We will ensure that full driving directions and gate
codes are sent to your home address at least two weeks prior to your departure
for Florida. We also send details of the location of local shops
and
a handy ‘back route’ into Disney World
How
will I get the Keys?
You have a choice of how to receive your keys.
We can mail them out to your home address (to arrive at least two weeks before
you leave for Florida) or we can leave a set in our Villa Lock Box for you to
collect using a code which will be provided in advance.
Is
there a maid service?
Villa Santa Cruz is rented on a self-catering basis,
which means that there is no Maid service provided. You can pre-arrange
for a mid-stay cleaning if you wish, which will be at additional
cost
and subject to local availability.
Do
I have to pay for Laundry?
No! Our home comes equipped with a large
capacity washing machine and tumble dryer which are available for use free of
charge. Laundry detergents are not provided.
Do
I need to bring my own linen?
There are plenty of linens and towels available for your use during your
stay, including Pool
towels so pack light, you don't need to bring them!
Is
Smoking allowed?
For comfort and safety Smoking is not permitted inside the villa,
although you may smoke outside on the Lanai.
Can
I bring my Pet?
Regrettably we do not allow pets of any kind at Villa Santa Cruz
