Located on Florida's Eastern 'Space' Coast, Kennedy Space Center is the public face of Cape Canaveral, NASA's southern base.

The Centre offers visitors an insight into the workings of the Cape through interactive exhibitions and up close viewings of the 'Saturn V' rocket and the Space Shuttle.

A tour takes you out to view the launch platforms and the massive hangar where the Space Shuttle is maintained and stored. The tour also offers a chance to see some native Florida wildlife including birds and alligators.

Other highlights of the Centre are the IMAX Theatre, a huge cinema experience and the daily 'Meet and Astronaut' which gives you a chance to meet a real life astronaut and join in a question and answer session.
